Timmons Group is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist (Compliance) for our Environmental Group in Richmond, VA. This role involves providing environmental compliance services related to data centers and development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in erosion and sediment control, stormwater inspections, and possess strong project management skills. A commitment to environmental regulations and client interaction is essential. Certification in Erosion and Sediment Control is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience performing Erosion and Sediment Control and/or Stormwater compliance inspections.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines under limited supervision.
• Willingness to regularly travel regionally and out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental compliance inspections and reporting.
• Develop and audit Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
• Coordinate with federal and state agencies regarding compliance.
