The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for the development, submission, processing, and negotiation of issuance for permits associated with impacts to both federal and state waters. This individual is responsible for the completion of permits that will be submitted to and reviewed by entities such as the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC), as well as Local Wetland Boards (LWB).

Compensation:Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $63,000-$68,000.This position is eligible for straight-time overtime. There may be flexibility on salary for experienced candidates. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials role complexity.
