Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Program Manager to oversee the facility's environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste profiling, shipping, storm water, and related regulatory obligations. The role will supervise at least one program area and support staff across related activities.

The position requires coordinating with regulatory agencies, clients, and municipal officials, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety and professional standards in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of waste profiling and management techniques

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff within waste management, industrial pretreatment, and compliance areas
• Conducts internal reviews/audits to ensure procedures are followed and identifies risk areas
• Performs environmental audits for regulatory permits and contractual standards
• Writes reports and communications to clients and regulatory agencies
• Interacts with local businesses and city officials to achieve compliance objectives
• Assists in laboratory support activities and community outreach
