Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Environmental Protection Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting government facilities. You will perform analysis on policy statements, SOPs, fact sheets, and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations.

Develop and review environmental compliance and management plans, provide regulatory guidance, conduct inspections and training, and review NEPA documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with environmental compliance issues
• 2+ years of experience with NEPA analysis
• Ability to manage competing requirements
• Ability to coordinate administrative tasks
• Ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions
• Ability to provide schedule management and development for long-term projects
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with environmental compliance and environmental planning, or 5+ years of experience with environmental compliance and environmental planning in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting government facilities.
• Perform analysis on the drafting of policy statements, SOPs, fact sheets, newsletter articles, and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations affecting the government.
• Develop and review environmental compliance and management plans.
• Provide technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct environmental compliance inspections, audits, and evaluations as directed by the government to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
