Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical science.
• Minimum five (5) years full-time practical, documented experience as Environmental Branch Manager (or similar supervisory title).
• Minimum five (5) years in the environmental field with exposure to federal regulations and documents (RCRA, CWA, CAA).

Responsibilities

• Interprets, recommends, and ensures compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assists in planning for changes in facilities to meet new environmental requirements.
• Identifies and contracts properly licensed hazardous waste disposal firms and monitors waste handling.
• Organizes and equips spill-control teams.
• Assists with environmental impact statements and applies for permits and renewals.
