Job summary

PPG is hiring an Environmental Engineer for our Circleville, Ohio plant to provide direction and training ensuring a safe, healthful workplace and regulatory compliance. You will work with manufacturing and EHS teams to implement CAA, CWA, EPCRA permits, SPCC, RCRA programs, and ISO14001; you will develop leading indicators and help drive sustainability, energy and waste goals.

This onsite role reports to the EHS manager and offers a dynamic environment for growth and impact at a global coatings

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of environmental, health and safety rules and regulations.
• 5+ years of experience with CAA, CWA, and EPCRA permits and reporting.
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and PPG environmental regulations and policies.
• CAA MACT standards reporting and compliance documentation.
• CWA NPDES water permits management and reporting.
• SPCC plan inspections and management.
• RCRA and state-level waste management program compliance and emergency planning.

Skills

Broad understanding of environmental,,

5+ years of experience with CAA, CWA,

Education

B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field
