Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of general engineering and science principles.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply complex policies, guidelines, and regulations.
• Provide reasoned analysis for decision making and ability to follow APA procedures in negotiation and drafting settlements.
• Combination of education, training or experience enabling performance of the specified job duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct administrative enforcement actions in all media (water, air, waste, etc.).
• Evaluate cases and develop/enforce appropriate enforcement responses.
• Develop complete written enforcement documents (plans, consent orders, letters of agreement).
• Manage and negotiate settlements and ensure timely case resolutions.
