Steel Technologies is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Environmental Management System across multiple sites in the United States. Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations, including stormwater, SPCC, air permitting, and waste management.
• Experience developing, implementing, or managing environmental management systems (EMS).
• Strong project management skills to drive multi-site initiatives.
• Experience auditing environmental programs and working with internal/external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a corporate Environmental Management System.
• Define the scope, aspects, impacts, and site-level roles for the EMS.
• Lead management reviews of environmental performance and program effectiveness.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of environmental programs across sites.
• Collaborate with operations during process changes and facility modifications.
