Job summary

Commercial Metals is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to develop and implement regulatory programs and ensure compliance across manufacturing facilities. You will work with site teams to obtain permits, maintain records, and guide projects with environmental input.

The role requires five years in environmental management, familiarity with major regulations, and strong writing and communication skills. Opportunities for training and advancement are offered within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, or related field preferred.
Minimum five years of prior environmental management experience.
Familiarity with CAA, CWA, RCRA, CERCLA.
Experience in managing major air pollutant sources.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement environmental regulatory programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain environmental records and assist with reporting.
Obtain permits and provide environmental input for projects.
Review operations for regulatory compliance and internal policies.
