Job summary

Pace is seeking a Scientist I to join the wet chemistry team in our environmental testing laboratory. You will analyze and oversee air, water and soil samples, ensuring adherence to standard chemistry policies and practices while maintaining instruments and documenting all work.

This is an evergreen posting for future positions. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a closely related field and can operate in a lab setting, standing for extended periods and wearing PPE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Biochemistry or a closely related field.
• Ability to perform work in a lab setting, remain standing for tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the analysis, administration and oversight of air, water and soil samples using standard chemistry/ biochemistry policies, programs, and practices
• Clean, maintain and calibrate instruments
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation on all laboratory work
