Job summary

Aerostar Environmental and Construction LLC is expanding its Environmental Business Line and seeks a Chemist I to perform comprehensive environmental data validation in accordance with EPA and DoD guidelines. You will collaborate with project managers, field staff, and laboratories to ensure data quality and project timeliness.

The role requires a B.S. in Chemistry with 0-3 years related experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with EPA methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and 0-3 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with US EPA methods for environmental samples and DoD guidelines.
• Experience with government clients and related compliance.
• Familiarity with EQuIS and/or EQuIS DQM.

Responsibilities

• Validate environmental data in line with EPA National Functional Guidelines and DoD Validation Guidelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, field staff and laboratories to address data quality issues.
• Review data packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with methods.
• Maintain data collection, tracking, and reporting to keep projects on schedule and within scope and budget.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate with laboratories to coordinate analyses and data quality issues.
