Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a CDL Driver to travel along assigned routes, packing, transporting, and disposing of waste materials in line with environmental policies. The role requires accuracy in record-keeping, adherence to instructions, and the ability to work independently after training.

This position includes occasional overnight stays and some weekend work, with a company card for hotels and a daily food stipend provided.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Understand, read, and write English.
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Willing and able to wear company-provided PPE.

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport, and dispose of waste safely per regulations.
• Complete required paperwork according to regulations and policies.
• Load and secure materials and waste; unload at client sites or locations.
• Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies.
• Provide high level customer service and communicate issues to management.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Plan schedule/route based on customer needs and daily paperwork.
• Follow DOT guidelines while driving.
• Perform other duties as needed.
