Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a CDL Driver for local route duties in Pomona, CA. You will package, transport, and dispose of waste in compliance with DOT and OSHA rules, maintain trip records, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ability to lift 75 lbs, and readiness to pass pre-trip inspections and background checks. Local travel, occasional overnights.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Understand, read, and write English.
• Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Package and transport waste safely following regulations.
• Complete required paperwork per policies and procedures.
• Load/secure materials and unload at customer sites.
• Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies.
• Provide high level of customer service daily.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Plan route based on daily needs and routing software.
• Follow all DOT guidelines while driving.
• Perform other duties as needed.
