Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a CDL driver for local route work. The position involves packing, transporting, and disposing of waste materials in compliance with DOT guidelines, while maintaining accurate records and delivering high levels of customer service at each account.

The role will require occasional overnight stays and strict adherence to safety and scheduling protocols. A valid CDL with Hazmat, eligibility for DOT testing, and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Understand, read, and write English.
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Valid ClassB CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Package and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local rules.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Load and secure materials and waste, or unload at customer sites.
• Provide high level of customer service to assigned accounts daily.
