Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for Environmental Services (CleanPack Chemist CDL) to support Central Oregon, primarily Bend, Redmond and Madras. No prior environmental experience required—training provided.

Role combines Class B driving with field work at customer sites, mainly in healthcare, including waste packaging and regulatory shipping docs. Primary truck is a 26-foot box; occasional out-of-town travel and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Ability to meet DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Ability to obtain/maintain hazardous materials endorsement.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Willingness to learn hazardous waste handling and CleanPack operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and travel within Central Oregon, including overnight work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests and disposal notifications.
• Inspect storage areas and drums for leaks, labeling and compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and ensure shippability per policies.
• Operate vehicles safely under DOT and company guidelines.
• Complete projects and shipments per site regulations and safety plans.
• Follow customer disposal restrictions and test new waste streams as needed.
• Work at customer locations including Fortune 500 companies.
