Environment America is hiring Campaign Associates to lead our campaigns across the country, including oceans, public lands, clean energy, and clean air initiatives. The role involves organizing communities and building support for our campaigns in line with our mission.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. We provide training, oversight by experienced advocates, and opportunities to grow within a national network of state groups and local offices.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills are ideal.
• An eagerness to learn and grow in advocacy.
• Experience organizing campus or community groups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build coalitions across organizations and constituencies.
• Organize support, events, and volunteer engagement.
• Earn traditional media and social media attention.
• Lobby elected officials from local to federal level.
• Recruit volunteers, interns and staff.
• Run a grassroots campaign office and meet fundraising goals.
