Job summary

Onterris Payroll, LLC in Wilmington, NC is seeking an Analyst I or II to support multiple projects, interact with regulatory agencies and clients, and contribute to environmental testing using LCMS/MS. The role trains on first shift, then moves to second shift.

Compensation ranges from $22 to $27 per hour, commensurate with experience. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Natural Science and 2–4 years in environmental analytical chemistry are required.

• 2–4 years in environmental analytical chemistry preferred.
• Experience with LC-MS/MS instrumentation is a plus.

A Day in the Life

As an Analyst I or II in our Wilmington, NC lab, you'll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

The compensation range for this role is $22.00 to $27.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Schedule: This position will train on 1st shift hours. Once training is complete this position will move to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Analyze environmental samples utilizing LCMSMS and GCMSTroubleshoot instrument issues and perform routine maintenanceProcess data in accordance with SOPs for inclusion in client reportsProficient with office software and ability to learn required operational/quantification softwareAid in development and optimization of analytical methodsMaintain and update knowledge of relevant instrumentationReadily adapt to change in a positive manner and handle other essential tasks as assignedComply with laboratory quality assurance plan and other policiesOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or Natural Science (or equivalent training)2-4 years' experience in an environmental analytical chemistry; Instrument software or commercial laboratory experience is an asset.
