Job summary

Summa Health is seeking an Environmental Aide I at the Akron City Campus for part-time 24 hours with a 1st shift. You will perform housekeeping duties throughout the hospital, using specialized machines and methods to maintain a clean, patient-friendly environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, initiative, and adherence to environmental policies while handling exposure to chemicals, bodily fluids, and other hazards in a hospital setting.

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, and on feet during entire shift performing medium to heavy moving to include frequent pushing, pulling of loaded carts, furniture, and lifting of patients, cleaning equipment, and materials

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
