Archaea Energy, a bp company, is a leader in landfill gas to energy and the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the US. We develop, construct, and operate RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric, and dairy digester facilities, operating around 50 sites across 32 states with a robust development pipeline.
About the role
We are recruiting an Environmental Advisor responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations such as the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, RCRA, and EPCRA. Key duties include monitoring, recordkeeping, reporting, environmental management, data review, emission inventory calculations, waste stream management, site risk assessments, and incident investigations.
This role requires up to 25% travel for site visits and team workshops. The Environmental Advisor will support compliance performance, communicate regulatory requirements, respond to queries, and host compliance meetings.
Key accountabilities
Essential education
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Salary range: $87,000 - $110,000. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, parental leave, bonuses, 401K, health insurance, and more.
Travel requirement: Up to 25%. This role is fully remote and not eligible for relocation assistance.
