Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. in Biloxi, MS is seeking an EVS/Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness of the casino, front of house bar areas, and public spaces.

You will follow safety standards, work with a team, and report to the EVS Shift Supervisor. The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Prefer previous experience cleaning commercial property.
• While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to climb or balance and smell.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleaning of the entire casino, front of house bar areas and public space of the facility, excluding kitchens.
• Cleans all offices and public restrooms.
• Transports all trash.
• Cleans up after all special events.
• Maintains front entry way and Porte Cochere
• Reports any problems to EVS Shift Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow teammates.
• Performs any and all duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.
