Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring for a cleaning/EVS role at our Biloxi property. You will maintain cleanliness across the casino, public spaces, and front areas, while upholding safety and service standards.

You should be at least 21, able to read simple instructions, and ready to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment. We offer a competitive total rewards package with benefits that may include day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and an annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains general cleaning of the entire casino, front of house bar areas and public space of the facility, excluding kitchens.
• Cleans all offices and public restrooms.
• Transports all trash.
• Cleans up after all special events.
• Maintains front entry way and Porte Cochere
• Reports any problems to EVS Shift Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow teammates.
• Performs any and all duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Prefer previous experience cleaning commercial property.
• While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The cast member is occasionally required to climb or balance and smell. The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duty of this job, the cast member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.
