Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op (Fall 2025)

Job Description:

The Role: Our site in Chester, PA is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What you’ll do:

1. Lead project(s) to further develop and deploy the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (EHSMS) at the site.
2. Participate in multi-disciplined Hazard Assessments (examples: Ergonomics, New Chemical, New Chemistry, Management of Change)
3. Support the site's Sustainability goals.
4. Develop new web-based tools to better organize and implement EHS programs.

What we seek:

1. Outgoing and cooperative to work cross-functionally
2. Project Management skills
3. Knowledge of Excel, pivot tables and SharePoint
4. Willing to learn from and interface with manufacturing engineering, operations, new product development, and facilities teams
5. Good analytical skills

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

1. Desired Major: Safety, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology
2. Graduating in Fall 2025 or later

Eligibility:

1. Must be a currently enrolled student
2. Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December
3. Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
