Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op (Fall 2025)

Job Description:

The Role:
Our site in Chester, PA is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What you’ll do:

• Lead project(s) to further develop and deploy the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (EHSMS) at the site.
• Participate in multi-disciplined Hazard Assessments (examples: Ergonomics, New Chemical, New Chemistry, Management of Change)
• Support the site's Sustainability goals
• Projects will depend on background of candidate selected. Potential projects include:
  • SharePoint site enhancement and development
  • Process Safety deployment

What we seek:

• Outgoing and cooperative to work cross-functionally
• Project Management skills
• Knowledge of Excel, pivot tables and SharePoint
• Willing to learn from and interface with manufacturing engineering, operations, new product development, and facilities teams
• Good analytical skills

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Desired Major: Safety, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology
• Graduating in Fall 2025 or later

Eligibility

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
