Job description

Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management, is seeking to add an HSE Manager to its team. This role will work onsite in Westborough, MA and works Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This is a 4-month contract role that pays $54.30 per hour. The key to this role is prior safety manager experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, client procedures, and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate project safety risks.
• Review and maintain contractor safety documentation.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance data.
• Provide HSE guidance and strategic solutions.
• Promote a strong safety culture through communication and leadership.
• Supervise and mentor HSE team members.
• Address HSE concerns and ensure continuous improvement.
• Travel to sites as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of safety management experience.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential.
• Functional safety knowledge including but not limited to OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, ACGIH, and NIOSH.
• Knowledge of collaborative software such as ASANA, Autodesk, etc.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills:

• Any of the following: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) - preferred.
• Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred.
• Experience working in manufacturing, robotics, construction, and facility maintenance and management is preferred.
