Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager

Location: Orange County, CA

Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000 per year

The EH&S Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining key EH&S programs and procedures, leading strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations to support the company's operational needs.

Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Conduct safety audits, inspections, meetings, and risk assessments regularly.
3. Develop and oversee emergency response and incident management plans.
4. Manage industrial hygiene programs, including respirator use, hearing conservation, chemical exposure, and ventilation surveys.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as Cal/OSHA, OCFA, OCSD, CUPA, and AQMD.
6. Provide safety training for employees at all levels.
7. Lead safety talks, meetings, and awareness campaigns.
8. Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and injuries, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
9. Maintain incident records and analyze trends for continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least 5 years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing safety programs.
• Hazardous waste operations and emergency response training (HAZWOPER certification).
• DOT/RCRA certification.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
