TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for an industrial metals/chemicals processing environment in Augusta, GA. The role requires 8+ years of EHS leadership, PSM exposure, and a strong OSHA compliance background.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in EHS management within a complex processing/industrial manufacturing setting
  • Experience developing and overseeing EHS programs in manufacturing or processing environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable local, state and federal requirements
  • Proven expertise in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, audits and incident investigations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits; support departments in implementing controls
  • Deliver safety training for employees, contractors and visitors to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Administer incident reporting systems; document accidents, near misses and other EHS events
  • Participate in workplace incident investigations and assist root cause analysis and CAPAs
  • Collect and analyze safety data; identify trends and prepare management reports
  • Maintain compliance documentation, safety records and reporting requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to support OSHA compliance

Job description

Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire, salaried

Pay: salaried plus annual performance bonus

Required: 8+ years EHS management in an industrial metals or chemicals processing environment with PSM program framework exposure and understanding

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards; support departments in implementing and evaluating control measures
  • Deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure awareness of regulations, standards, and safe work practices
  • Support the administration of the incident reporting and management system, ensuring accurate documentation of accidents, near misses, and other HSE events
  • Participate in workplace incident investigations, assist in root cause analysis, and help implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Collect and analyze safety data to identify trends and prepare reports for management review
  • Maintain compliance documentation, safety records, and reporting requirements as directed
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to support compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or a related field preferred plus 8+ years’ experience managing Health and Safety in a complex processing, industrial manufacturing environment, plus PSM exposure
  • Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and overseeing EHS programs in a manufacturing, industrial, or comparable environment
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant local, state, and federal compliance requirements
  • Proven expertise in risk assessment, compliance monitoring, audits, and incident investigation
