Job summary

IWCO Direct is seeking an Adjuster Trainee (Envelope) for day (6am-6pm) or night (6pm-6am) shifts at our Chanhassen, MN facility. This developmental program trains you to configure envelope manufacturing equipment and advance to an Envelope Adjuster through a structured program.

Under guidance of experienced staff, you will learn machine adjustments, meet customer specs, maintain safety, and participate in routine maintenance; 12-hour shifts, potential overtime, and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Basic math and reading measurements.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Basic computer skills for shop systems and recordkeeping.
Ability to learn complex machinery with supervision.

Responsibilities

Learn to perform machine adjustments including mounting plates and setting knives.
Configure envelope manufacturing machines per Job Tickets to meet specs.
Collaborate with Adjusters and Operators to align on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Identify quality or safety concerns requiring machine shutdown and troubleshoot.
Order parts and materials and coordinate with suppliers.
Perform routine machine maintenance and setup adjustments.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
Make routine job-related decisions under supervision and guidance.
Work 12-hour shifts with rotating days, including weekends, and overtime as needed.
