Job summary

IMETCO in Norcross, GA seeks a Project Manager for Envelope Assembly to guide projects from inception to warranty. You will coordinate with sales reps, contractors, engineers and architects, manage schedules, read specs and drawings, and provide remedies for cladding and roofing systems.

Responsibilities include developing objectives, controlling costs, preparing status reports, and ensuring compliance with Building Codes. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in commercial or residential construction.
• Post-secondary degree in engineering, building/construction or architecture preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and customer-focused solutions.
• Knowledge of Building Codes (IBC, ASCE, IECC, AISI) and related standards.
• Ability to read specifications/drawings and recommend cladding/roofing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develops project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
• Assigns responsibilities and reviews orders from customers/contractors.
• Determines project specs by studying product design and requirements.
• Reviews estimates, quotes, and manages project costs.
• Coordinates with sales reps and contractors for project success and client satisfaction.
• Maintains schedule and coordinates activities, resolving issues.
• Reads specs/drawings to propose cladding/roofing solutions.
• Prepares status reports and analyzes trends to guide actions.
• Reviews orders for completeness and suggests changes.
• Provides pricing for standard and non-standard projects.
• Reviews shop drawings for accuracy and coordinates with customers.
• Directs order-entry department and manages projects end-to-end.
• Ensures compliance with regulations to maintain company reputation.
