Responsibilities

• Under general direction, serves as Working Supervisor/Technical Expert to engineering staff in Des Plaines Municipal Unit.
• Reviews facility plans, municipal construction and NPDES permit applications for highly complex municipal wastewater facilities.
• Represents the BOW in IPCB rulemaking and regulatory relief proceedings.
• Provides guidance to agency staff/consultants on highly complex, sensitive issues.
• Prepares/reviews documents for submission to Bureau management and other officials.
• Performs other duties as required within the scope of the job.
