Qualifications

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a litigation attorney with 0-5 years of experience in criminal and civil litigation, preferably in the area of personal injury or criminal defense. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with strong advocacy skills, a sharp legal mind, and a passion for the law. Engage in client counseling, case strategy development, and negotiations. Work collaboratively with the legal team to ensure effective case management.

Requirements

0-5 years of litigation experience (criminal and/or civil). Strong courtroom presence and ability to handle hearings and trials. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. Active Georgia Bar License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
• Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
• Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
• Prepare for and conduct criminal hearings and trials

Qualifications

• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
• Successful completion of the bar exam

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
