Velocity Logistics Hiring is seeking an Entry Writer in Gardena/Los Angeles to manage customs clearance for international shipments and file documentation. FDA knowledge is mandatory, with 2+ years of import brokerage experience preferred.

This office-based role requires strong data entry and coordination with a brokerage team. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customs brokerage import experience with broad range of commodities.
• FDA filing knowledge and familiarity with CBP regulations.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations related to handling and customs clearance of international shipments.
• Classify shipments and prepare entry documents; FDA knowledge preferred.
• Coordinate with Brokerage/Branch/Compliance Manager to ensure process efficiency.
• Interact with US Customs and other agencies as needed.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries on brokerage files; handle billing data entry.
