Job summary

Center for Digital Governmtent is seeking a Wastewater Systems Technician I to operate, maintain, monitor and adjust wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations in the Department of Public Works. This entry-level role offers safety-sensitive duties with opportunities for advancement to higher levels through skill acquisition and certification.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of related experience, and a temporary Class 5A license, with a valid non-commercial Class C

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in facility plant operations, laboratory work, or mechanical, electrical or instrumentation maintenance.
Temporary Class 5A wastewater collection system operator's license (State requirement).
Valid non-commercial Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, monitor, and adjust wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
Prepare and review reports and SOPs for operations and maintenance.
Conduct laboratory testing and data collection to ensure compliance with standards.
