Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in facility plant operations, laboratory work, or mechanical, electrical or instrumentation maintenance work.
• Temporary Class 5A wastewater collection system operator license required; may be obtained after hire.
• Valid non-commercial Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, monitor, and adjust wastewater treatment plants and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on treatment and pumping equipment.
• Prepare and review reports and SOPs for operations and maintenance.
• Conduct sampling and laboratory testing following state and federal standards.
• Assist with safety, housekeeping, and general site management.
