Longview Bank – Paris Branch in Paris, IL is seeking a Frontline Teller to deliver exceptional customer service and manage daily banking transactions. Primary site is Paris, with potential coverage for nearby locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required unless enrolled in high school.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Desire to learn new technologies as well as engage customers with technology.
• Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and accuracy required.
• Must demonstrate ability to make personal connections, engage customers, and remain courteous and professional in a team environment.
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Debits and credits to customer accounts via computer and examines for endorsements, receiving proper identification.
• Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories, and refer customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
• Identify counterfeit currency.
• Accept loan payments, verify payment amount, accounts to apply to, and issue receipts as needed.
• Assist customers with safe deposit box vault entries.
• Maintain logs: cashier’s checks, cash, money orders, CTRs, etc.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Complete all training required by management and comply with bank policies.
• Comply with BSA/AML training and report suspicious activity to the BSA officer.
• All other duties as assigned.
