Job summary

EBARA is seeking a skilled technician in Sacramento to disassemble and reassemble pump systems, including cleaning parts for rebuilds. Under supervision, you will perform teardown, quality checks, and documentation to support reliability improvements.

Responsibilities include disassembly, testing, calibration, and reporting on serviceable pumps, with emphasis on following procedures, maintaining tools, and communicating issues promptly to leads. This is a swing shift role in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School, GED, or Associate’s degree in Engineering or Electronics.
• 0–4 years electro-mechanical and field service experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical skills and vacuum technology.
• Basic MS Office skills for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, cleaning, or re-assembly of pumps (Essential).
• Receive pumps, generate parts orders, and perform teardown and reports (Essential).
• Document observations during disassembly and generate failure analyses (Essential).
• Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during service (Essential).
• Check power and hand tools for proper operation (Essential).
• Ensure procedures are followed during assembly (Essential).
• Communicate issues to leads/supervisor promptly (Essential).
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems (Essential).
• Perform set-up, calibration, testing of circuits and components (Essential).
