EBARA seeks a Service Manager to lead Austin-based field service operations for EBARA vacuum pumps and related semiconductor equipment. The role emphasizes customer support, technician staffing, scheduling, safety, and service quality across multiple sites.

You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations and the rebuild organization, oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service-contract execution while ensuring clear customer communication and adherence to safety

Formación

• Eight+ years electro-mechanical and field service experience, preferably in semiconductor or related industry.
• Three+ supervisory experience.
• AA or BS degree in Electronics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Working knowledge of vacuum technology and reading drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team servicing EBARA provided components pumps at customer sites or service centers, including preventive and unscheduled maintenance, installations, upgrades.
• Involved in design reviews and interface with customer design groups; guide customers on new design or application.
• Coordinate installation schedules and parts deliveries; manage tools and consumables.
• Review and implement ECN/CIP changes for EBARA components products.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to roll out new products for field service.
• Track on-site customer base, pump shipping/receiving, and spare parts inventory.
• Provide technical support to field technicians and product support teams diagnosing and repairing complex equipment.
