Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation is seeking an entry-level Mechanic to assist with maintenance, repairs, and overhaul of gathering system equipment at compressor stations and cryogenic plants. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and support safety and regulatory compliance in a field environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or 1+ year of hands-on mechanical experience. Domestic travel and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of stable work history as a mechanic or related training in a mechanical trade school.
• Experience with hand tools and basic tools; ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Strong commitment to personal and job safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance and repairs of compressor stations and related equipment.
• Complete and maintain required work orders and documentation.
• Monitor equipment for optimum availability, efficiency, and throughput.
• Coordinate with craft personnel and contractors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Identify emergencies and initiate appropriate response procedures.
