Job summary

Summit Midstream Corporation is seeking a Senior Mechanic responsible for maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of compression and cryogenic plants across our gathering systems. The role supports DOT and OSHA compliance and requires hands-on mechanical work at multiple stations within the Fort Worth Basin area.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent with trade training and at least 5 years in energy or rotating machinery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification or equivalent training in mechanical environment or energy related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years stable work history in the energy industry or rotating machinery business.

Responsibilities

• Daily repairs and maintenance of compressor stations with reciprocating natural gas compressors.
• Responsible for completing and maintaining required work orders directing projects and team members.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain optimum availability, efficiency, and throughput.
• Perform maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydrators, vapor recovery units, flares, separators, and related equipment.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of contract personnel; identify emergencies and initiate responses.
• Promote safe work environment and ensure regulatory compliance in safety and environmental policies.
