Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a physically capable laborer for our scrap metal yard in California. You will unload materials, sort metals, and assist with equipment maintenance and safety procedures. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and a valid medical exam, drug screen, and background check are required.

Responsibilities include yard traffic control, tool use, housekeeping, and aiding in hazardous material handling as needed. Join a team focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish language skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets, boxes, and bundles.
• Material handling and sorting in the yard; push, pull, lift, and carry.
• Disassemble small equipment and handle wiring, bolts, and parts.
• Operate yard equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Direct traffic of yard vehicles and perform light facility upkeep.
