Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass medical, drug, and background checks.
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively; understand directions; basic math.
• Willingness to learn metal sorting, PPE usage, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets, boxes, and bundles.
• Handle and sort materials; push, pull, lift and carry.
• Unpack boxes using box cutters; separate packaging materials.
• Disassemble small equipment and parts; remove bolts and wires.
• Operate recycling equipment (metal shears, band saw, wire strippers).
• Direct yard traffic and maintain safe vehicle flow.
• Light maintenance and housekeeping; keep areas clean and orderly.
