Job summary

United Ag & Turf seeks an entry level yard maintenance associate to keep grounds tidy, service equipment, and assist in janitorial duties across a busy dealership lot. Responsibilities include load/unload trucks, inspect new equipment, assist customers with service pickups, perform yard maintenance, and support technicians as needed.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with possible Saturday overtime, and a willingness to perform varied maintenance

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
• General knowledge and ability to operate lawn and garden equipment.
• Forklift training and experience a plus. Candidates must provide proof of training or receive training before operating a forklift.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks (deliveries of new equipment and palletized items, store transfers, dealer transfers).
• Check over new incoming equipment while unloading and confirm serial numbers, manuals, and keys.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading of equipment for service.
• Dump scrap metal, and trashcans; load scrap pallet dumpster.
• Maintain tires and equipment on the line and sales lot; wash bay duties as needed.
• Occasional maintenance of company owned equipment (forklifts, gators, trucks).
• Assist technicians with moving non-functioning equipment from service line to bay.
• General yard maintenance: mowing, weed trimming, spraying weeds, trash pickup.
• Janitorial duties as needed; perform routine cleaning and upkeep.
