Job summary
United Ag & Turf NE is seeking a Rental Yard Attendant to support daily branch operations by managing the inbound and outbound flow of rental equipment. You will assist with loading and unloading, maintain yard organization, and oversee check-in/check-out procedures.
The role includes basic maintenance tasks under supervision, washing equipment, and helping the shop team. High school diploma or GED is required, and construction equipment familiarity is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience with rental yards and equipment handling preferred.
- Familiarity with construction equipment is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Assist internal drivers, external haulers, and customers with loading and unloading of rental equipment.
- Ensure accuracy of delivery tickets and returned equipment documentation.
- Wash, organize, and maintain rental equipment and assets.
- Review rental orders and stage equipment for pickup and delivery by drivers.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area.
- Support team members across departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
