Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management/related field required or substitute with experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of risk management concepts and procedures.
• Experience in a Risk Management program can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Investigate workers' compensation claims under supervision.
• Interview employees and witnesses to determine facts.
• Determine fee schedules and reimbursable expenses.
• Prepare forms and reports for the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation.
• Refer injured employees to panel doctors and monitor return-to-work progress.
• Maintain documentation of claim files and support cost containment.
