Job summary

Workrite Ergonomics in Petaluma, CA is seeking a machine operator to operate and maintain woodworking machinery in our Woodshop. You will set up equipment safely and ensure precise fabrication of our products, while following detailed drawings and job orders.

The role offers competitive pay at $22/hour, plus benefits, vacation, holidays and 401K with company match. First shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with opportunities for bonuses and merit recognition.

Qualifications

• Entry Level, no prior experience required.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Ability to learn and make transactions in an ERP system.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment.
• Speak, read, write, and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking machinery safely (e.g., molder, drill press, kerf cutter, pin router, table saw).
• Maintain quality standards as per QA guidelines.
• Interpret and follow drawings, cut sheets, work instructions and job orders.
• Assemble and package products as required.
• Inspect parts and machinery for errors and wear.
• Use PPE (ear protection, safety glasses, safety shoes) as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
