Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical or electro mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in wire harness design
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical)
• Strong understanding of electrical first-principles, wire routing, and wire harness assembly techniques
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (UL, IPC, SAE) related to the Automotive industry

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and understand design requirements for wire harnesses.
• Review and finalize any missing design inputs, ensuring all specifications are accurately captured.
• Utilize Cadonix Arcadia to create detailed wire harness designs and documentation.
• Design mechanical routing and retention of harnesses using SolidWorks.
• Ensure that every design complies with industry standards and client specifications.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to support production.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
• Manage the Cadonix Arcadia part database and data quality.
• Maintain documentation throughout the design process.
