Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables in Idaho is seeking entry-level Wind Technician for the TOP Wind Service Technicians program. The role includes exclusive safety and technical training through GWO, working on wind sites near home as part of a service team to maintain turbines.

This is a full-time position with comprehensive training provided on hire, including basic safety, tower safety, and technical training. Travel up to 25% and opportunities for growth within Sky Climber.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations and upgrades.
• Verify work complies with customer requirements.
• Document all work performed.
• Report policy or procedure violations.
• Submit progress reports.
• Repair or replace parts; use tools safely.
• Travel as required (up to 25%).
• Work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Work at heights and in all weather conditions.
