Job summary

Safco Products, located in Milford, IA, seeks a full-time Welder to set up and perform essential welding operations at our manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include spot, robotic, and MIG welding per prints, plus finishing and data entry for labor reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to read blueprints and use inspection equipment and measuring devices.
• Understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques.
• Computer skills including typing, printing and data entry.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Setup and perform welding per prints including spot welding, robotic welder and MIG welding.
• Finish products to meet workmanship standards (grinding and sanding).
• Enter work order data for labor reporting into the computer system.
• Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
• Follow health and safety policies to protect yourself and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
