Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a welder to join our production team. The role involves performing general welding assignments to support plant goals, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will set up welding machines, adjust gas, volts, and wire speed, and weld on various surfaces including overhead positions. The position requires the ability to work a 1st shift, participate in overtime, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Ability to perform and remember multiple tasks daily.
• Physically able to meet job requirements (lifting, standing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Weld on flat, curved, or vertical surfaces.
• Set welding machine parameters (gas, volts, amps, wire speed).
• Weld in various positions, including overhead.
• Load materials into welding machines and prepare finished pieces.
• Maintain clean work area and inspect welds per procedures.
