Great Dane is hiring a Material Handler to transport materials, supplies, and finished products within our plant. You will receive, store, and ship items, maintain records, and optimize loads while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You’ll work in a team-focused environment, comply with safety standards, and obtain a fork truck certification within 30 days. No prior experience required, with opportunities for overtime.

Competenze

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks daily and maintain focus.
• Capable of performing physical tasks listed in the job description.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize scrap.
• Meet or exceed required production levels.
• 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.
• 1–2 years scan gun experience preferred.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Good math and time-management abilities.

Mansioni

• Receives, distributes, and stores products in designated locations.
• Maintains records of materials received and shipped, including dates and locations.
• Reviews shipments and documents for accuracy and quality.
• Expedites shipments that affect manufacturing schedules.
• Transports loads with hand trucks or skids; optimize loads for efficiency.
• Secure loads and perform daily safety inspections.
• Resolve issues with contractors or vendors when problems arise.
• Manage inventory using RFGen scanning equipment.
• Identify and report workplace safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness and work closely with leaders in a team environment.
• Obtain fork truck license and certification within 30 days.
• Disposal of scrap materials and maintaining a safe environment.
• Follow Great Dane safety requirements for transporting loads.
• Complete fork truck safety inspection daily.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
