Qualifications

• Entry-level welding experience or formal training.
• Must complete Vermeer Weld Training Program with AWS GMAW-P certification to D14.0 standard in flat position.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols; apply decimal-based measurements for precision.
• Ability to access and interpret digital work instructions and drawings.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills; identify defects and support corrective actions.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete weldments in various positions according to blueprints and welding procedures.
• Prepare, position, and align components; bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts.
• Safely operate oxyfuel cutting torch for preheating and maintain welding equipment.
